Fixing Maternal & Child Healthcare

Mahmee unites a team of maternal and child healthcare experts behind every pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. From prenatal check-ins to postpartum coaching, our nurses, doulas, lactation consultants, mental health specialists, nutritionists, and care coordinators form a circle of care that brings you peace of mind. By fostering health equity and ensuring joyful, healthy transitions into parenthood, we’re raising the bar for what it means to give birth in the United States.

The United States faces a maternal health crisis: more parents die or suffer severe complications here than in any other developed nation. This crisis affects all families and disproportionately impacts Black and Indigenous communities, whose maternal mortality rates are 3 to 5 times higher. Education and income alone aren’t enough to overcome this gap in care. But wraparound support—care that meets parents where they are and stays with them through every step—truly makes a difference.

What's in a name?

mahmee (pronounced “mom-me”) means nurturing care for the caregiver. We’re here to support you so you can focus on bonding with your growing family. Our name is a nod to motherhood—how it feels, the needs it creates, and the relief that comes from having the right help at the right time.

Vision and Values

Our vision is equitable access to comprehensive maternal and infant healthcare. We’re committed to ensuring all families are surrounded by wraparound support during pregnancy and postpartum.

We always find a way

We refuse to accept barriers as permanent roadblocks. Whether it’s a late-night concern or a complex medical challenge, we’ll do whatever it takes to make sure families get the care they need—no matter what.

We show up

We don’t stand on the sidelines. We’re by your side from day one, ready to listen, support, and adapt as your journey unfolds. With Mahmee, you’ll never have to go it alone.

We own it

Accountability is how we build trust. We take responsibility for our actions, celebrate our wins, and learn from our setbacks. When we say we’ll do something, we follow through.

We make bold choices

Real change happens when we challenge assumptions and innovate. We embrace new ideas, lead with empathy, and push ourselves—and the maternal health system—to be better for every parent.

We're always learning

Maternal health is constantly evolving, and so are we. By staying curious, seeking fresh perspectives, and staying on top of the latest research, we empower families with the most up-to-date care possible.

One Team Caring for the Whole You

We believe it takes a community to elevate maternal and infant care. That’s why our entire team—from nurses, doulas, and lactation experts to care coordinators, marketing, product, tech, and leadership—unites behind one mission: ensuring you have the support, knowledge, and compassion you need, every step of the way.
